Today I am sharing a very special article with you. While typing these lines, I must continuously pinch myself because I can finally reveal our much-anticipated collaboration with L’Oréal Professionnel which took place during MQ Fashion Week in September. If you follow us on Instagram, you have might seen some insights to this exciting project! Even more, we have prepared a video exclusively for you! Check it out here!
So, let’s start with how it all began:
Several weeks ago Jen and I were invited by L’Oréal Professionnel to test a whole new product line, called Pro Fiber, before its official launch in Austria. Naturally, we felt so excited and honored to team up with such a renowned company, most of all because they have so many great and different product lines perfectly adapted for all hair types. The big challenge during this project was that only one of us – which in this case was me – would test the treatment in order to compare whose hair would be in better condition after a week of full torture to our hair. Since I have been dying my hair for so long and it always requires a make over, I was keen to try Pro Fiber out. There was certainly no better choice than Ultimativ Group, lead by the twin brothers Patrick and Andreas Raitz, who are the most important people when it comes to taking care of the models’ hair during MQ Fashion Week, which we attended the whole week. And there was more to come: During the course of this project we were walking exclusively for Fulani at the Fashion Show, which you can see in the video.
Let’s get right into ProFiber and my experience:
It’s the latest product line of L’Oréal Professional and the first-ever repair treatment that gives your hair immediate and long-lasting results. This is achieved with Aptyl 100 technology, a method capable of creating lasting results by locking in molecules within the hair and making it finer. The very first treatment is the most relevant one, which starts with the indulgent Renew Treatment in a hair salon in order to continue the treatment at home.
Shortly before Vienna Fashion Week has kicked off, I was ready for my first Pro Fiber hair treatment. Since my hair is constantly strained due to coloring and ongoing photo shoots, there is sufficient damage. As soon as I got into the hair salon, my hair was studied according to the level of damage. For my hair “Restore” was the perfect type of treatment. Of course, I was already super excited awaiting the result!
There are three different levels (according to the hair damage) and three different lines of ProFiber products:
1, Rectify: to resurface hair with damaged cuticle (pink)
2, Restore: to repair hair with a damaged cuticle and cortex (turquoise)
3, Reconstruct: to restructure hair with a very damaged cortex (purple)
While I started the haircare programme in the salon, I continued applying the prescribed shampoo and conditioner of the “Restore” line at home. The re-charge booster which you should use after every fourth washing is a substitute to your conditioner or masque for up to 6 weeks, revealing long-lasting hair beauty.
From my experience with Pro Fiber: Right after the treatment I’ve seen the results. My hair looked healthier and beautiful. Even several weeks after MQ Fashion Week was over, during which permanent hair makeover was required, the initial result that Pro Fiber had was still there! In comparison to Jen’s hair, my hair was smoother, bouncy and most notably more shiny. I can recommend the programme to everyone, especially those with damaged hair, weather it’s colored, over-styled or just requires a boost, plus it smells great!
All in all, Jen and I had an amazing time shooting these photos & creating this video. I hope you guys will enjoy them as much as we did creating them. Make sure you daily chores lead you to the whole Pro Fiber line for yourself. That is, if you haven’t tried it already.
Special thanks to L’Oréal Professionnel for this fabulous and unforgettable experience!
