Milan Fashion Week is over and we can’t wait to come back again in September! Being a part of the Roberto Cavalli F/W 15/16 Show was just incredible and the entire atmosphere left us nearly speechless. Many thanks to the whole Cavalli Team for turning one of our biggest dreams into beautiful reality!
Some info about the collection: The China Girl is the main character of Roberto Cavallis Fall/Winter 15/16 Fashion Show. The designer duo, Roberto and Eva Cavalli got their inspiration from the movie “In the Mood for Love”, set in Hong Kong in 1962, and reinterpreted the main character in several ways. She has many facets; one side of her is seductive, while the other one stays unrevealed and romantic. This season she is definitely searching for love! The style of this collection is cosmopolitan and modern. Chinese elements are transformed into luxurious details through the high-quality Italian craftsmanship. Some parts that caught my attention were the imperial yellow, oversized gold pagoda buttons on the dresses, beautiful blouses with the frilly cuffs, Chinese motifs incorporated in the lining of the coats, floral motifs in gold climbing up the transparent plexiglass heels of the boots (especially the ones with the leopard print!) and last but not least if my favourites are the Shanghai night dresses, both long as well as short, in hand lacquered chinese-screen print silk! Era una sfilata bellisima! 🙂
