Shades of Pink

 by Des

Hey guys!

We just returned from sunny Dubai which has been an incredible experience for us! Besides being involved with new exciting projects (more on that in our next posts) we could finally relax a bit as well and recharge our batteries while enjoying the beach, salt in the hair, looseness of people and of course the great weather which set us in a great mood. We were enjoying a true summer feeling we had been waiting the whole winter for!  If only it could be summer the whole year through! Dubai people do seem to be having a weather like that almost the whole year long. What a luxury!

Looking at the following photos the first thought that comes to my mind is how much we were freezing that day. Just to mention… Jen and I love summer more than anything! For this photo shoot we collaborated with 4 Jahreszeiten, a multi brand store based in Vienna. There are in total three stores, the biggest one with two incredible floors is located in Ringrassen Gallerien, an exclusive shopping center right next to the Opera. What we really like about 4 Jahreszeiten is that they offer a large variety of different international brands from Ready-To-Wear to all kind of wonderful accessories. I can truly say that, due to such a variety of brands, every woman can find a piece there . Brands such as Dorothee Schumacher, Alexander Therekov, Laurél and Anne Gorcke, which we have seen during different fashion weeks in Europe are just a few of many.

For this post, Jen decided to wear a bloom dress from Dorothee Schumacher, a German based brand that is known for feminine cuts and easy elegance and a leather jacket by Steven-K. The print of the dress reminds of a poetic interpretation of Californian coolness while the real highlight is the inspiring silhouette of a Parka, as you have might noticed.

My “Grooftie Chic” Style, as I call it, involved a black long skirt with transparent details from Hotel Particulier, a couture flower harness, which I believe is a beautiful detail over an ordinary silk blouse and a reptile-like tote all from Dorotohee Schumacher and sunglasses by Spektre Sunglasses.

Hope you guys like the post!

Feel free to share your thoughts with us.
