The Fendi Bag

Fendi Bag Des Jen Karl Lagerfeld Sketches

When it comes to investing in a piece of art and craftsmanship, fashion conscious people usually tend to select leather goods or outerwear. Let it be a pair of Louboutins, a Burberry Trenchcoat – or a Fendi Bag.

The Iconic Piece

Most fashion houses have a very certain piece they are famous for. Christian Louboutin, who colored the heels of his partner red, Thomas Burberry who created the iconic Trenchcoat and set the beginning for military fashion and Gabrielle Chanel with creating the perfect and timeless Jacket. These fashion pieces are  lifelong companions and timeless it-pieces.

It is also thanks to him, that in 1977 Fendi is the first company to present their new collection in a fashion film. Different museums showcased previous Fendi pieces in art exhibitions.

Fendi started off as a family company specialized in fur and leather goods. Today it is one of the world’s biggest names in Fashion. With Prêt-à-Porter for Women, Men and Children and a wide range of accessories and leather goods it is set in every field of fashion. In 1999 LVMH became main shareholder in the company. Since then, Fendi Grew into an international fashion house with boutiques all over the world.

A Fendi bag reflects personality and consciousness of the owner. Collections of bags like “The Baguette” and “The Peekaboo” showcase Fendi’s take on living with fashion as something fun and TV shows like Sex and the City featured Fendi as a brand.
