I was really looking forward to publishing our colorful photo series from our unforgettable stay in Dubai that we had taken mid of April. It was indeed one of our bigger projects of this year! Finally the photos have been released! The city of gold is famed for breaking many records, including the tallest building in the world – Burj Al Khalifa, the world’s highest tennis court once placed on the helipad of the magnificent Burj Al Arab, where Andre Agassi and Roger Federer had had a friendly match back in 2005 and of course the man-made islands, like the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Jumeirah. The latter one is currently the only one which has been completed so far. Here you can find one of the most luxurious resorts of Dubai…
The Anantara Dubai is a lush Thai inspired beach resort with a view of modern Dubai in the background perched on the eastern crescent of the palm. If you are looking for ultimate privacy, an escape from urban noises, you can definitely find it there! Even though we have seen families with children the guests are versatile. The good thing is that there is an immense choice of private beach pool villas.
One of the highlights of the Anantara Dubai is the 400 metre long private and very clean beach, which is in my opinion quite secluded from the other hotels and beaches. It can sometimes be overcrowded, like the Jumeirah Beach or even the Atlantis. The resort also includes Middle East’s first over water villas featuring exceptional glass viewing panel set in the floor. Simply beautiful!
What differentiates one hotel from another is the service! Here I have to say that while sunbathing we were pleasantly surprised by one of the staff members who offered us some freshly cut cucumbers to apply onto our eyes. If you are a woman and reading this you will probably know that it helps reduce the appearance of under eye darkness and puffiness. How hilarious is that? Ultimately I realized how small gestures can have a huge impact, in that case creating loyalty among the guests and a secure word of mouth advertising! 🙂
Other characteristics of the place: Anantara Spa with 16 luxurious treatment suites, variety of sports activities like kayaking, wake boarding or snorkeling, gyms, two tennis courts, a teens-club, etc.
