Valentino SS15

Hey my loves!

Jen and I have been working really hard during the past months. One of the good things about this is that we are learning and discovering so much at the moment. It’s extremely exciting for me to be challenged in so many ways, as it is not all just a part of a working process but also of personal growth. The way how we create our own experiences defines who we become and influences the ultimate outcome. I feel truly blessed and thankful for all the people that have been supporting me so far in every single way. It really gives me strength and motivation to continue this journey. I believe it is important to stay with people that believe, trust and respect you for who you are and the work you do. What I have learnt from the past is to stay true to yourself if you want to be truly happy and never sacrifice who you are for anyone. Because what actually matters is to follow your dreams and do what makes you happy, because that is the only recipe for making a whole, stabile and mature person. Even if your dreams might appear less significant in the eyes of others – they account for something in your eyes and that gives them value. Of course we all face challenging moments – you simply can’t avoid it – but important is to always look for the good in every situation, even if it is the lessons you learn.

The photos that appear were shot in Zagreb. Some of you might particularly take out one photo which we have posted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. You remember the amazing news when Valentino reposted our Instagram photo? Check it out here! 🙂 I still can’t believe that this has happened but at the same time I feel so honoured as our work has been appreciated by such a great brand. In fact, it is one of my favourite fashion brands!

This time Jen and I went for these incredibly beautiful dresses from Valentino; picking the right looks was easier than I thought. My credo: when an outfit immediately catches my eyes I go for it! What I really love on these two dresses (SS15) is that they are filled with such a youthfulness and effortlessness at the same time. I can tell you that I really felt comfortable wearing it. The inspiration for the collection was taken from the 18th century tradition of the Grand Tour, a traditional trip taken by young Europeans to explore the Italian art, culture and traditions. Jen’s dazzling dress involves iconic prints with flowers and arabesque forms which comes in vivid colours which she paired with Valentino lace espadrilles; While I  decided to go for this chic white eyelet lace dress and matched it with elegant flat-sandals by Alaia.  My favourite shoes for this season- just to mention! To add a perfect touch I have added this head piece from Maison Michel. All available at Maria Store!

By the way, we were recently invited by L’Oréal to test a new hair care product (which will be launched in Austria very soon) and on the occasion of this will start a very exciting project shortly! All I can say is… L’Oréal and Fashion Week 😉 So prepare yourself!
Hope you guys like the photos. Don’t forget to leave a comment!

Special thanks to Marija!
