Firstly, here’s a little note about today’s article which is devoted entirely to our recent stay in Paris during this past fashion week.
I feel like every time I travel there I fall in love with the city all over again, since I always experience something different and exciting. The feeling is utterly fascinating as I always have this feeling of being in a totally different place. And I could not single out one thing that makes Paris what it is. It’s just a bit of everything that makes my heart melt… the breathtaking architecture, the beauty of its parks and boulevards that leaves me lost for words, the tiny streets with their charming cafes and people, its impressive display of history and art, not to mention that Paris is one of the best spots in the world for shopping and of course the special vibe! The list could go on and on. I just cannot repeat it often enough: Paris, je t’aime!
This time Jen and I had the chance to take some photos in one of my favorite photo spots in Paris, the Louvres´Cour Carrée, which is known for Dior´s spectacular fashion shows. We teamed up with More Dash Showroom which represents many upcoming and talented designers from Ukraine and Georgia. I am excited to share with you these series of pictures, as it was the very first time for us to do a photo shoot in Paris. We were wearing these gorgeous dresses by Bessarion, a Georgian-born, Moscow-based designer, whose originative fashion to me is playful but yet feminine and classic. Like Jen, I combined the dress to the Amy clutch, my favorite current bag from Claritone, which we discovered at a pop-up store in Paris organized by Julia Van Hagen. Love its shape… it’s just perfect for carrying my must-have essentials. I simply adore the different colors they have!
Also, we both got into these insanely beautiful sunnies by Andy Wolf lately. I like how they match to so many looks but at the same time are so incredibly special.
I hope you guys will like the images! Wishing you a great weekend!
Lots of love,
Des
