NYFW Recap

Hey guys,

Beginning of September, we had the big pleasure to fly to New York with Tiffany & Co. in order to celebrate the global launch of its first fragrance #AllYouNeed. If you follow us on Instagram you have already seen some photos of our unforgettable experience. New York is a city we fall in love with time and time again. The business, the fashion and the spirit of creativity that lingers between the skyscrapers, always give us a whole new perspective on what is possible. Of course, we also attended the fashion week, and want to share with you some of the best moments we had during this period.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

For its global fragrance launch, Tiffany came up with something that’s really special. We were invited for an exclusive breakfast at Tiffany’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue where the official presentation of its new signature scent #AllYouNeed was held. It is a sparkling floral musk we have completely fallen in love with. The shape of the bottle was inspired by Tiffany’s most iconic diamond cuts. Our trip to NYC with Tiffany was one of the best experiences of the year as we were a part of a historic moment – in 1961 Audrey Hepburn starred in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s“ and made a huge impact on fashion and feminism. We also enjoyed a private tour at the atelier with its designers and craftsmen.

New York Fashion Week – Tanya Taylor S/S18 presentation

The Tanya Taylor Spring/Summer 2018 collection (partnered up with shoe line Andrea Gomez whose brand aesthetics are very similar to Tanya Taylor) took place at the Spring Studios and referred to Amsterdam’s Keukenhof gardens/Holland’s tulips. My breath was taken away as the collection was beyond beautiful. New York – based Tanya, who is known for her floral dresses, addressed a woman who is more feminine than girly. The free flowing silhouettes were full of bright colors and included asymmetry and handkerchiefs. The collection is about renewal, finding harmony and peacefulness. It’s a must have for everyone that loves unique graphic prints and floral elements in their spring wardrobe.

For the presentation, Des and I wore two looks from Tanya Taylor’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection

Vogue x Free People Rooftop Party

After the Tanya Taylor presentation we went up to the rooftop of Spring Studios where the Vogue x Free People party was held. Free People presented their latest vintage inspired coat collection “Coat Check“. It was a very cool and relaxed atmosphere; we watched the most beautiful sunset across the NYC skyline.
