Milan Fashion Week F/W 18 Recap

Hi loves,

We know that Milan Fashion Week is a couple of weeks ago now, but we still wanted to give you a more detailed insight on our days in the Italian’s fashion capital. It was one of many trips we’ve been on lately, but we always enjoy the italian flair, the style and the events a lot. Much like Paris Fashion Week, it was an exhausting but rewarding and definitely unforgettable time.

Private dinner with August Getty Atelier

One of our favorite memories from the time was the private dinner with the August Getty Atelier, who is an American designer from California. The apartment it was held in was beautiful and he even attended the dinner himself. Usually he dresses celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Khloe Kardashian, Hailey Baldwin and many more for red carpet events or concerts, so it was an absolute pleasure to spend time with such an important icon. We were able to meet incredibly people, one of them Brian Atwood, who is also in the photo, and Robert Cavalli, who is Roberto Cavalli’s son. Natasha Slater, who’s agency is located in Milan, organised the event.”

Fendi Fashion Show

Since we love daring looks, a play of colours and sophisticated women, Italian fashion is probably our favourites. Therefore, the collections in Milan are always a highlight for us. One of the most beautiful shows we got to see this season was FENDI. Boxy shoulders, feminine cuts and checked patterns dominated the collection and left us speechless. A reoccurring theme were white boxy collars that cover the shoulders and waist belts that added a feminine touch to the uniform looks. And of course we love the all-over “F is for Fendi” print!
