In 2011, the midi skirt had a memorable comeback, thanks to brands such as Chloé, and since then it has never really gone away again. To the present, the midi has been favoured by many fashion designers and has been “the key item” during many fashion shows over several past seasons. Also, it has shown that this trend doesn’t have any seasonal restricitions. Despite its wide popularity among fashionistas, many women find wearing the midi still challenging to a certain extent.
In the 40’s, this trendy skirt was worn until the mid-calf. Nowadays, women rather prefer wearing it in various lengths, from the knee down to few inches just above the ankle. As seen on many street style photos, this length can be worn at day as well as night. The midi-skirt cannot only be matched with elegant heels, but also with flats, and even with sneakers. And it really does its work! Moreover the different cuts -whether flowing, pleated, or full – prove that every woman can wear it. For this post, we have combined our midis with elegant crop tops.
For us, it is defenitely a multifunctional garment, and we just love it!
