Winter Charm

by Jen

Christmas is over, all delicious food has been eaten, all presents opened, and the year is slowly coming to its end. Christmas is indeed one of my favourite times of the year, mainly because my entire family gathers together and we catch up on times  that we weren’t able to share. For me it’s all about giving, sharing and loving. There is no better feeling than watching your family open the gifts you have prepared for them and knowing you have managed to put a smile on their faces. Usually, we spend this holiday at our grandparents’ idyllic country house in Croatia, where I enjoy the entire atmosphere and truly spoil myself with having a long lie in, good breakfast, going for an amble, drinking cups of hot chocolate, baking cookies, decorating the tree, having long conversations with my loved ones or watching Christmas movies like “Home alone“ or “Home alone 2“ (it just never gets old to me. They are undoubtedly the best Christmas movies of all times).
To me, Christmas is also a great time to reflect on the past year, refreshing and renewing energy for the upcoming year.
The following looks were recorded in the heart of Milan. Milan can be so charming when decorated with all the Christmas ornaments and lights. All these pieces  from Ermanno Scervino embody the love for glamour. Both coats (with golden buttons) are characterized by very feminine silhouettes.  Des is wearing an Astrakhan coat in royal blue (lately it has been her favourite color) combined with thigh-high boots. I was overwhelmed by my sporty duvet coat the minute I saw it. Its white color and voluminous shape lend the outfit a coutourish touch. There are several options to play with the coats, for instance one could use a black belt to emphasize the waist! I combined my look with a nice pair of leather sandals.
