Hi loves! So thrilled to share with you today a little article, which is all about our latest editorial for the launch of the new H & M Conscious Exclusive Collection. We have had the pleasure to shoot with Patrick Domingo in the beautiul garden of Schönbrunn. Honored to say that we have been working with H & M for a couple of years now and have been witnessing their beautiful evolution in terms of creative and innovative direction from season to season with ongoing new, playful ideas and concepts for their collections. And again, the brand surprised us with a wonderful new collection.
#HMConsciousExclusive brings out a powerful femininity and sustainable fashion innovation, introucing two new materials: Recycled silver and ECONYL®, a 100% regenerated nylon fiber from fishnets and other nylon waste. This shows that the brand is stretching the boundaries of sustainable fashion. All the designs are inspired by the creative home of the Swedish artists Karin and Carl Larsson. The prints and motifs, bold compositions and use of colors as well as Karins´s love for the garden were cleverly translated into the floral jacquards, embroiederies and prints based on specific objects in the house.
I have been wearing a lot of black, especially during winter time (guess a lot of us). And even more, I am pleased about the collection´s colors palette which consists of greens, white and black with touches of dusky blue and powder pink. The accessories include delicate tulip-motif jewelry made from recycled silver, elegant satin slip in shoes made from recycled polyester.
Christy Turlingon, this year´s face of the H & M Conscious Exclusive Campaign
“Ever since I learned about this collection I’ve been really impressed by what it stands for and the designs are equally appealing. Fashion and sustainability is no longer a contradiction in terms and I think re-using and recycling is an important initiative across fashion. It’s really inspiring to see such fashion-forward designs being made from recycled materials.” – Christy Turlingon
