Layered Corset

Hello dears!

Also from my side, happy New Year! I wish you lots of love, joyful moments, health and new discoveries throughout 2018! Another year of life is now in the past. It’s nice to look back at all our achievements, growth and experiences. As well as to recognize and accept the struggles and challenges that we have been facing, understand how they made us grow the strength and wisdom that we’ve gained throughout our journey, and learn how to implement these experiences for the better. At the end it’s all about how you perceive everything. We can either choose to see failure as a loss or as a learning lesson. Speaking about the blog, what I have really learned from 2017, is, that the right communication is key in order to spread the right message and express your needs.

I have been staying at home in Vienna most of the time during the last days, spending some quality time with my friends and taking some pictures which you will see soon on the blog.

Taking you guys back to Milan, I decided to shoot in middle of the design district, which is home to many creative brands, independent boutiques and alternative venues. I have to admit, that it took us a while to find the perfect setting for my look (sometimes, it can be quite challenging!) The interesting part of taking pictures is, that they never come out 100% as you planned. The red tones of the building and the green plants perfectly complemented my layers. I’ve been all about layering lately.

There’s something deeply satisfying about coming up with an unexpected, interesting outfit. If you want to make a statement in the crowd, then you better go for something different. I am totally in love with this beige corset from Coliac, which I put over my white silk blouse and matched it with this denim culotte (also from Coliac). Love the washing and details on the bottom. Also, I’ve been loving this black box bag by Alexander McQueen, it’s so spacious and special!

I am curious to know if you have some questions or special wishes that we should cover on our blog this year.

So far so good, I wish you a wonderful week ahead!

Lots of love,

Des

Love the corset look! It is suitable for any occasion, if carefully styled even for the office. Here are some other interesting options that we have found:
